How much does a treatment cost?
The price depends on the type of treatment required and the size of the area our technician would need to treat. Each quotation is calculated and tailored to the customer’s specific situation. For example - The square footage of your bedroom may be smaller than your living area and subsequently to treat the smaller room the price would be less.

What types of odor removal or treatments can Odoronix offer?
Odoronix can help with a variety of odors in your home. This includes, but is not limited to:

What makes you think you can get rid of it when I have tried everything?
Because we treat the source of the smell! To use the example of pet urine - to carry out a normal carpet clean where a pet had soiled this will simply remove the stain and temporarily mask the odor. However at Odoronix we treat the area under the carpet eradicating the smell which has soaked into the concrete, thus removing the odor permanently.

Will there be any damage to my property?
At Odoronix, we will guarantee there will be no damage to your property made by our technician or any of the chemicals he uses.

How long will it take?
The Oxidation treatment will take approximately 6 hours. During this time we need the house to be vacant to ensure that all odors and their causes are effectively treated and your house is free of any cleaning residues.

Why do we have to be out of the house and why does it take so long?
Effectively, we are doing a complete shock treatment in your house. The process is very similar to shocking a swimming pool and again you would not use or be in your pool during this process. Because ozone is an oxidiser it will kill any living organism in your home. The high doses we use can be detrimental to humans, therefore to ensure your health and safety we ask that the house be vacated during our treatment.

Are you insured if anything goes missing as I will be letting a stranger into my house without supervision?
Yes of course, Odoronix has fully liability insurance for any house call made by our technicians. You can however be assured that our staff are all completely trustworthy and have been fully vetted/background checked before being employed by our company. We stand by this statement for each an every member our team.

Why does my pet have to be out of the house?
Again, for the same reason we would ask you to leave the house the oxidiser can be detrimental to your pet health.

Will it kill my plants?
We do ask you to remove any plants from your home for the duration of the treatment; the ozone treatment can prove harmful to house plants.

What about my tropical fish, can they stay in the house?
The tank filter for your tropical fish will neutralise any oxidants in the air during our treatment, therefore they are safe to stay in your home.

Will the treatment stain my curtains or furniture?
Absolutely not. The ozone treatment is simply a form of oxygen which combines with the pollutants in your home and then reverts to normal oxygen. Leaving no evidence of the treatment at all.

Are you sure it’s safe to go back in after you have finished?
Yes, completely, our technician carry out a thorough post treatment clean using a HEPA vacuum ensuring your home is fresh and entirely safe.

Will all the chemicals be gone? If so, where do they go?
Yes they will, our treatment simply converts the bacteria/odor to normal oxygen making it completely safe.

I suffer from asthma, will your treatment affect it/me in any way?
Quite the contrary, there have been various case studies carried out and research by the American Allergy Association, has confirmed that asthma is aggravated by air-borne contaminants and pollutants. At Odoronix part of our treatment is to successfully remove these pollutants from you home, subsequently improving the air quality and proving beneficial to your condition.
As an asthma sufferer, our post treatment clean includes the removal of pet dander and dust mites in your home. Again with proven results that support the benefits for Asthma sufferers. For your convenience, we sell anti-allergen mattress covers and pillow cases which we would highly recommend follow one of our treatments. As part of our treatment, we also provide a complimentary air filter for your air-conditioning unit, which we would recommend you change frequently to keep air in your home filtered free from pollutants which could again, aggravate your condition. We can arrange for these filters to be mailed to you periodically.

Will the technician be qualified? What experience do they have?
Yes, all our technician are trained and certified in Odor control and we are fully insued to carry out these treatments.

Would I have to get this done again or will one treatment be enough?
One treatment should suffice to remove any malodour problem in your home, however each case is different and consequently the treatment and length of time required may vary in each case.

I am at work, can the keys be picked up from my office?
Yes of course, for your convenience this can be arranged. We will however require you to sign a service agreement adhering to our terms and conditions.

Do you have a payment plan?
With the service Odoronix provide we anticipate that one treatment will be sufficient to eradicate your odor, therefore a payment plan is not available at this time.

Do I pay the technician when he arrives? Or do you bill be afterwards?
For your convenience and ease, we will automatically debit your chosen credit/debit card the day before your scheduled appointment.

Why do I have to pay before you do the treatment?
Each treatment is tailored to the customers needs and subsequently equipment and chemicals are obtained/reserved to best treat your home 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

What if your technician doesn’t show up on time?

When an appointment is arranged, you will receive a courtesy call the day before confirming the time and the name of the technician you can expect at your home.
